The PCL Capability-Maturity Model is a two level diagnostic tool which can be used by companies for both the evaluation of Programs/Projects Cost leadership capability, as well as setting plans for greater application maturity.
Level 1 of the model tests the most important critical capabilities in order to the potentially greatest problem areas. Level 2 of the model provides for a “deeper-dive” into specific capability to assist in the formulation of Product Cost Leadership efforts.
